Children of God.
The Bible teaches that we should approach God with confidence (Heb 4:16) ~ we are His children and He is our heavenly father. In fact unless we come as children, we will not enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt 18 2-5).
Jesus loved the children he interacted with; "he took them in His arms and blessed them" (Mk 10:16) and healed & delivered those that were sick.
LK 7 11-17; Lk 8 40-56
When we have commited our lives to Christ we gain a new identity (2Cor 5:17) - that of a child of God... and an heir to His promises. We have an eternal inheritance promised and a destiny to fulfill on earth (Rom 8 14-1). We are adopted into Christ's family and become part of the christian family, valued and wanted. Eph 1 3-14

"Help me to live this day quietly; easily;
To lean upon thy great strength trustfully; restfully;
To meet others peacefully; joyously;
To face tomorrow confidently; courageously"
Amen
