"Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good.." Romans 12:12

The Bible has much to say about obstacles, challenges & difficulties that lie in our path and seek to ensnare us. God knows that our journey home will be perilous and that we need His encouragement, guidance and help. Read the following verses about overcoming and gain strength from these words..

"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome this world" John 16:33

"Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome." Genesis 32:28

"They will fight against you but not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you", Declares the LORD" Jeremiah 1:19

"Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God" 1 John 5:5
