Since the fall of Man & later Floods (Genesis 3 & 6) the world has not been perfect ! Heaven & new Earth are promised - but not yet.. ! (Isaiah 65:17)Creation is groaning ~ disruptions & corruptions are to be expected ~ but the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost (Mark 13:8, Luke 19:10) There are lost sheep (Luke 15) infiltrators (2 Timothy 3) and false Christs (Galatians 2:4-5, 2 Corinthians 11 13-15). God is not unused to these individuals - who deceive by appearance/lies (John 13:18, Luke 10:18) or the love of money which entices and traps many. Mark 11 15-16, Ephesians 6 10-12, Matthew 6 19-21 We are told that darkness will increase & as the world literally dims, we must take care & not be cold (Matthew 24:12) Increasing troubles signal change & we must be ready !
