Formed ~

Often it is our experiences of life that shape us; from difficult realities to unexpected surprises - events and our reactions influence our behaviour and future ~ who we become ..
However God is above, before and beyond all these things (Ephesians 1:21). He is infinitely greater than our lives or any event or happening within us (1John 3:20)

Take a few moments to think of defining events / experiences in your life.. some may be pleasant, others painful.

Thank the Lord for His goodness - His love is everlasting (Psalm 118) .. Give to Him any sadness, disappointment or pain. (1Peter 5:7) and ask Him to be Lord of all.. (Matthew 22:37-38)

Dear Lord God,
I commit to you my past, present and future
and ask you to be Lord of all I am
I give to you my hopes and dreams
and ask you take my burdens
 (..you can name these things before the Lord..)

I pray these things In Jesus Name,
For His Glory,
              Amen
