God's primary way of speaking to us is through His word ~ The Bible.
The Bible is a collection of books containing History, Poetry, Prophecy, Gospel & Letters. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." (2Timothy 3:16). For getting to know and understand God, our history, and future we must become familiar with God's word ~ and 'hide it in our hearts' (Psalm 119:11). ~ the Bible encourages, guides, inspires, protects, heals, promises, equips, motivates..* It is our guide and foundation to Christian life (Philippians 2 12-16) We must read the Bible daily...and we will be blessed (Psalm 1). |

I lift up my eyes to the mountains--
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip--
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you--
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm--
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
"Let the word of Christ dwell among you richly...." Colossians 3:16
