Blessing:
"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace" Numbers 6 22-27 |

Blessing is about living in God's favour, knowing His protection, provision and watch over our lives.
God has blessed us with so much - our homes, our lives, the air we breathe. To remain in / gain God's blessing we must obey His word and live according to His truth. Deuteronomy 28. We need to be 'right with God' - confessing our sins and asking for help in weakness, turning away from what is evil, persevering through hardship or difficulty and loving our neighbours as ourselves.

God intends good to all mankind ("The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love" Psalm 103:8) but we live in a world where sin and decay exist - and if we depart from His plan we put ourselves and others at risk and lose the true peace that fellowship with Him brings. Joshua 1:8
What God-given things do you enjoy? Thank the Lord for them and ask for His guidance in your life today. Pray for wisdom in difficulty and help to remain in His love (John 15:4). Ask God for favour for those who suffer for being a Christian or for those whose life circumstances are difficult.
The Bible contains many examples of blessing ~ (words that convey life Matthew 17:5, Luke 1:42, Genesis 48:15.............use the words above to speak blessing towards someone you know and love.
