   "Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth." Hosea 6:3
 
 
The Bible often encourages us to "press on" (Phil. 3:12). In the early days of the church Paul, apostle to the Philippians, encourages the believers to "press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me". To gain our Godly inheritance, our place and reward in heaven we must continue and hold fast to the faith which Christ has given (Rev 2:7).
 
The Israelites were led by Moses from slavery and oppression in Eygpt through miraculous provision to the Promised Land - but their often difficult path was delayed for generations due to complaining, side-tracking, unbelief and disobedience.

We ourselves may be tempted to false worship, boredom and faithlessness ~ but we need to 'press on' and trust in God whose way is perfect (Deut 32:4, Ps 18:30) and will provide - even by miracles, for His people ~ His treasured possession (Ex19:5)

Remember: "Not one of the LORD's good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled."
