​Shine as a light!
 
Jesus says: "I am the Way, the truth and the Life..." John 14:6
 
Truth - the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Jesus is our 'plumbline' for living, our standard, example and guide. God wants us to imitate His values and walk in the light of His character and ways. (Lev 19:2)
Living in truth can sometimes be awkward or even painful (or perhaps just inconvenient) but when we are truthful and behave as our true selves to God, ourselves and others we can be blessed, strengthend and healed. (Jn 4; Jn 21)

Jesus is the true light of our world - and the Bible like a lighthouse ~ being both a visible marker and warning of danger.
 
 AW Tozer once said "I would rather know the truth than be happy in ignorance"
 
Heavenly Father, thankyou that you tell me the truth. Please help me to become like you in living and speaking the truth in love. I turn away from lies and deceitful ways and choose to walk in your light from this day forward.
