"The World & it's desires pass away but whoever does the will of God lasts forever.." 1John 2:17

Our world has been corrupted by humanity & sin .. (1John 2:2) The globe even turns differently on it's axis due to accumulating human activity.. social & scientific progress is not always honest & true.. !
The flood washed many evil people away but Noah & his family were saved - because they obeyed God & his commands (Genesis 6 - 8)


The human condition of sin - falling short of God's will & design (Romans 5) fed by temptation (Romans 6) & false teaching (deceit, Genesis 3:3) is rife... Bad company does corrupt (1 Corinthians 15:33) - but Jesus on the Cross paid for it all.. (Romans 3)



The Bible says we are "in the world but not of it.." John 17:14
  "Keep oneself from being polluted" James 1:27
  "Wash your hands" James 4:8
  "Get rid of moral filth" James 1:21
  "Be holy, because I am Holy ..." 1Peter 1:16

Jesus life, death & resurrection defeated death and hell - all the powers of darkness & destruction.. (Colossian 2 1-10,13-15)
Christians must not allow sin to reign in themselves or their lives (Romans 6:12) .. we are to use our skills (Matthew 25) and be followers of the Way. 


Christ conquered death - we are to also !
