Hope is important - and does not disappoint us when placed in the right place (Romans 5:5) Turmoil is not unusual in this life - & sometimes we are expected to endure much (2 Timothy 2:10) Character may be formed out of difficulty (Romans 5 1-5..) and choosing our response carefully (Romans 6..)- as well as keeping good habits (Galatians 5:14) is vital. Our foundations must be in the right place ~ lives and homes built on 'sandy land' will only fail (Matthew 7 24-28). We must use the good gifts & abilities given to us (Matthew 25 14-30, Luke 16:10) and remain faithful to Christ (Psalm 145)
