Lot & His Daughters .. read Genesis 18/19
 
 
 Not every scenario described in the Bible is there to be copied. Lot & his daughters had escaped from a dangerous situation (Genesis 19 1-29) but without Lot's wife - who had looked back, and the sons-in-law who thought the situation was a joke (Gen 19:17, 26,14). Lot was drawn into compromise by his daughters, and they became pregnant by him.

The Lord destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah because of the evil there & the cries of his people (Genesis 18:20) He sent angels but Lot had offered to sacrifice his children (Genesis 19:8).. Perhaps the reason for his family breakdown & sin.

The sons born by Lot's daughter's later became fathers of tribes of Israel..  Amongst the mess, God was still in control ..

To have success in our earthly lives, God teaches us to be careful to obey Him (Joshua 1:7) He listens to our prayers (Psalm 145:18)..
