"For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad" 2Corinthians 5:10
God expects us to live knowing that we will answer for our actions, attitudes and behaviours. No-one will escape the judgement of God. Hebrews 4 12-13. Our humanity in itself is insufficient to please God and we depend on the righteousness of Christ for our continual salvation. Romans 8 9-11. God's way is the narrow path - the 'alternative' is the wide path that leads to destruction. Matthew 7:13. We must count ourselves dead to sin - i.e. consider it no option; to remain alive in Christ - as Christians, and to receive all that is promised. Romans 6:10-11, 22.

Jesus suffered much prior to His Easter resurrection - He stayed close to His Father and by doing so remained without sin. Mark 14:34-36.
This Easter thank God for all Jesus did on the cross - becoming sin so that we ourselves might be free. Hebrews 9:15. Choose to come closer to God by turning from any wrong way, and trust that he will never leave you. Hebrews 13:5.
All heaven declares the glory of the risen Lord
who can compare with the beauty of the Lord
for ever he will be
the lamb upon the throne
I gladly bow the knee
and worship him alone
I will proclaim the glory of the risen Lord
who once was slain
to reconcile man to God
forever you will be
the lamb upon the throne
I gladly bow the knee
and worship you alone
(N&T Richards)
Lord God, take my sin and make me whole. Guide me in your paths and forgive me ..lead me nearer to you, to live daily in your presence
in Jesus Name
Amen
at Easter: read the description of Jesus last days on earth - before his ascension to heaven - and giving of the Holy Spirit. Mark 14:32 - 16:20
