...and today God is still creating ...spring, lambs, babies.. God cares for them all.
In the account of Noah (Genesis 6:8 - 8:22) God found his creation corrupt - he had given Adam & Eve choice and their fall (Genesis 2-3) affected the rest of mankind ~ many had turned from God and from His ways. The Lord was troubled and caused a great flood to wipe out all the evil - but Noah & his family were found to be righteous and were saved - as were 2 of each kind of all living things - by building the ark.
Noah lived in faith, believing and trusting God had him in heart&mind - and when the time was right God provided a dove (symbol of the Holy Spirit) to take him and his family to safe ground.
This is a 'type' of the life that is to come - when we put our trust in God and live in His purposes, He will lead us to our heavenly home.....God gives security, hope, provision, family and friends ~ valuable things in an uncertain world.
Praise God for all He has given you & if you don't already, make a frequent habit of praying for your family, friends, neighbours...
"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6 24-26
you could use this prayer from Ephesians1 as a model (for yourself and others)
"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe"

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
consider all the works thy hand hath made,
I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder,
thy power throughout the universe displayed:
Then sings my soul, my saviour God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my saviour God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art!
When through the woods and forest glades I wander,
and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
and hear the brook, and feel the gentle breeze;
But when I think that God, His Son not sparing,
sent him to die - I scarce can take it in
that on the cross, our burden gladly bearing,
he bled and died to take away our sin;
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
and take me home - what joy shall fill my heart!
Then shall I bow in humble adoration,
and there proclaim: My God, how great thou art!
